What Is Baptism?

Baptism is one of the first acts of obedience for Christians. It is also one of the most significant events in our spiritual lives. It's the beginning of us "going public" with our faith in Jesus Christ.

We want to help you make this moment one you'll never forget as you continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.

Why Should I Be Baptized?


“At that time Jesus came from Nazareth and was baptized by John in the river.” – Mark 1:9

“At that time Jesus came from Nazareth and was baptized by John in the river.” – Mark 1:9

“…many of the people who heard Him believed and were baptized.” – Acts 18:8

“We know that we have come to know Him, if we obey His commands.” – 1 John 2:3

Is baptism the next step in your relationship with Jesus? We believe that baptism is the next natural step of obedience in the life of every repenting sinner who’s placed their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

There is no reason to delay. As soon as you have decided to receive Christ into your life, you can and should be baptized. If you wait until you are “perfect”, you’ll never feel “good enough”!

When Can I Be Baptized?

Baptism is such an important part of your relationship with Jesus Christ that we feel like there are a few things we need to talk about first. We want to make sure every baptism candidate has a basic understanding of salvation and baptism and recognizing your true identity with Jesus Christ. We also want to help you develop your personal story of your journey of faith.
